AUGUST PATCHWORK of PRAYERS and BLESSINGS
It seems like life is a patchwork of ups and downs, filled with blessings of love and abundance, pain and worry, and daily bits and pieces sewn together with stitches of God throughout. For my daily devotion time this year, I hope to patch my days together with reflection and prayer and hopefully a photo or two!!
And for this month? As families and groups gather to celebrate summer, hold reunions, picnics, and everything, may we consider what it means to gather in Christian fellowship - time spent with one another in mutual care and nurture. But the wheat fields are turning gold, the grasses are dry, so my colors this month gravitate to golden yellow and light orange.
